I had to reinstall my OS X system. But now whenever I try to delete a program it asks me for my username and password. When I type that in, it says it that's not the admin username/password even though it works every time I start my comp. Is there any way to fix this?

If Keychain First Aid finds an issue that it cannot repair, or if you do not know your keychain password, you may need to reset your keychain.
Try this:
Assuming that you are using a recent build of OS X, go to /Applications/Utilities and launch the app called Keychain Access. Go to the Window pulldown menu and select "Keychain First Aid". Enter your password, set the radio button to "Repair", and click "Start".
I've tried to rest my password and have verified and repaired it. But no such luck. However, I see something that says "Root Certificate Not Trusted"...does that have anything to do with it?

It's possible your account has been removed from the Admin group. When you go into System Preferences, under “Accounts”, does it tell you you're an admin?
