How do I copy a single frame from a video clip in iPhoto?

That is not a feature of iPhoto - suggest to Apple - iPhoto Menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback.

iMovie '11 does no longer make stills as photos like the earlier versions did - it creates useless shorter videoclips with ken burns effect and low resolution thumbnails instead 😟

As a work-around -

• either reveal your video in the Finder (File > Reveal in Finder > Original File) and use a video editor like MPEG Streamclip or Quicktime Pro (if you still have it) to extract a still frame (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3064570)
• if you only need a photo with the resolution of your screen, view your video in full screen mode and take a screenshot (Re: HOW DO YOU GET A SINGLE FRAME FROM IMOVIE COPIED TO IPHOTO?)
