iphoto continues to show up in the Updates folder even though it is installed

I have the update system telling me on my MacBook Pro that Iphoto needs an upadte even though in the panel it shows it as installed and will not re-install the update. How do I get rid of this annoying reminder?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Terence. Yes it shows up in the App Store and shows installed.

If it's any consolation I've had this happen on one of my machines. It went away after a day or two. If that's not enough for you then contact App Store support. It an App Store issue really, not an iPhoto one.
