Can't update my MacBook Pro 13

I'm using the late 2011/early 2012 MacBook Pro 13"

It's neved been updated since we got it, i've tried the Software Update, and it keeps coming up with the same error message, even when i try download them one by one.

"The update could not be verified. It may have been corrupted or tampered with during dowloading. The update will be downloaded and checked again the next time that Software Update runs."

I've had luck with a few downloads been able to download them straight from the apple website.

Updates that are currently on the Software Update tool are:

Safari

AirPort Utility

MacBook Pro EFI Firmware Update

iTunes

Remote Desktop Client Update

I'm not sure what the problem is, i have suffecient internet and have tried multiple times with the same error occuring over and over again.

Thanks,

Google is your friend. Don't know why your updates aren't automatically downloading and installing, though.

Hi Clinton,

Thanks for the reply.

I should of mentioned i'm running Lion, i beleive that safari download was for Mountain Lion? Anyways, needless to say the safari download didn't work. I've tried downloading updates on my iMac and other MacBook Pros, it just seems to be a problem occuring on the Pros that haven't been used sinse they arrived, not updated at all.

I'm not sure where to go from here because I have a lot of Pros that need to be updated as soon as possible.

Thanks,

Oops - yeah, some of those updates are ML, I guess.

I don't know what would be causing the Software Update's not to function - particularly on multiple MBPs. Have you installed the 10.7.5 update - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1582 - as well as the 10.7.5 Supplemental Update - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1599?

Let me know...
