Q: iCloud storage

I moved from MobileMe to iCloud, only to find that I could not use it with my current System 10.6.8. Is there any way I can use iCloud storage (like the much lamented iDisk) even from System 10.6.8? Thanks for any help.

iMac (21.5-inch Late 2009), Mac OS X (10.6.8)

iCloud does not provide general file storage in the manner of the iDisk, even with Lion/Mountain Lion. Its storage is only for Backup of iOS devices, Mail, Photo Journal and 'Documents in the Cloud' (iWork and Textedit document accessed through the application).

If you want general file storage you will need to find a thid-party solution: this page examines some options -
