Cant install iTunes on Win 8

I recently purchased my first iPad and need to sync my calender, mail, files etc to my laptop. My laptop was recently formatted and loaded with Windows 8.

When I try to instal iTunes as per the forum suggestions, I get an error 2503 and 2502.

What now? Im no IT Pro and am stumped quite frankly!
