Personal Hotspot not working via USB

Hello,

I have tried various suggested solutions on the net but so far to no avail.

Since I upgraded my iPhone 4 to iOS6 I have not been able to connect to my MBP via USB using Personal Hotspot.

I can connect via WiFi but wish to resolve the USB problem.

I can do everything else over USB so the cable is not an issue.

I have tried replacing the AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext as suggested on previous threads. This didn't work for me.

Has anyone else got/had this problem?
