volume slider set to 0 when trying to record vox

Trying to record voice over in FCPX but the input volume slider can not be moved, the output slider works. I know my sttings are ok because i can record in soundtrack pro, logic and garage band. Recording voice over with FCP 6 on my MAC Pro works fine but not on my new IMac 27 running FCP X. Any body had simular problems ?

I have the same problem after installing moutian Lion, before that time no problem with the gain/volume-level and the Rode dig.mic into the line in.

Yes, there is a User uploaded filecertain level of gain but i can't change it...

Itseems to be a very rare problem because i don 't get any suggestion, let alone a solution for 5 weeks now...

Hope anyone will have an idea? Thanks!!

yes I discoverd that you can still audio record with the invisible slider set to zero but before i could set the level higher or lower. The fact is that the input is rather low now.

I must change it now in the OS preferences.

No, Apple has imo a magnifique product with fcpX!; I just worked for a while with the well-knowned progr. (in the Netherl) from Video de Luxe and discovered the enormous advantages of fxpX.

Let's hope appple will repair this soon but in anonther forum (macrumors) were I putted my problem too I got the answer it was the standard now. Why? True?
