Q: i can't get my 4G ipod to skip forward to a second podcast

I downloaded a 30 min Podcast- The Digital Story and I also downloaded a second podcast-The Tech Guy.  When I play my ipod I can only hear the first podcast. I try to fast forward and it only skips forward in the first podcast episode.  Is there a fix for this issue?

Are these podcasts from two different Podcast series? If so, you'll need to navigate to the second podcast by changing playlists via VoiceOver. To do this, see changing playlists in this Apple support document.

Hot ****. I've been digging around for a while to solve the same issue and Apple's Podcast Guide just wasn't clicking. I didn't realize that iTunes and the Shuffle were putting the different podcasts (podcast meaning the series, not the particular audio file) into their own playlists. I'd say that it worked like a charm, but I guess there wasn't anything broken with iTunes to begin with.

You probably didn't realize it because it makes no sense and is entirely stupid that Apple treats podcasts this way. If I don't add i as a playlist, I don't want it as a playlist. If I don't want to listen to the name of the track read to me and just want to SKIP why do I have to push the button and listen to it???
