Jan 14, 2013 4:34 PM in response to planb77by Bobby7ero,Hot ****. I've been digging around for a while to solve the same issue and Apple's Podcast Guide just wasn't clicking. I didn't realize that iTunes and the Shuffle were putting the different podcasts (podcast meaning the series, not the particular audio file) into their own playlists. I'd say that it worked like a charm, but I guess there wasn't anything broken with iTunes to begin with.

You probably didn't realize it because it makes no sense and is entirely stupid that Apple treats podcasts this way. If I don't add i as a playlist, I don't want it as a playlist. If I don't want to listen to the name of the track read to me and just want to SKIP why do I have to push the button and listen to it???
