Please can anyone help.... My WIFI stopped working i down loaded new software and now I cant seem to load any Apps... It just keeps saying i need newer ios ssoftware...

The 2nd gen can only go to 4.2.1
It cannot use any apps the require any higgher then 4.2.1
The 2G iPod can only go to iOS 4.2.1. To use those apps you need a newer mode iPod.

Yeah.
If you have updated E-bay to the latest version, then it is only compatible with ios 4.3 or later.
Did you update it without reading the requirements?
The present version of eBay requires iOS 4.3 or higher.
Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.
Many developers when they updated their apps to support iOS 5 and 6 dropped compatibility for iOS 4.2.1 and earlier.
I had ebay on my 2nd generation touch... updated new software now it says "THIS APP REQUIRES iOS 4.3"....Help....Please.
