iMovie vs Time Capsule
Hi ... Is it possible that iMovie does not work recognize movie files stored on Time Capsule ?

Yes. You need a locally attached disk drive for your projects and events.
USB, FireWire and Thunderbolt drives will all work.

I have heard of people who fool iMovie by using Symbolic Links to the time capsule. If you are handy with Unix you might try it. But I think that you will likely encounter a performance issue. Time Capsule is really good for Time Machine backups where performance is not an issue.
Just my opinion. Your mileage may vary.
