is iPhoto11 the sell signal for Apple

launch iPhoto and in the iPhoto preferences set action when a comera is connecte to your shoice or to do nothing - quit iPhoto and Right click on the iPhoto library and show package contents - drag the masters folder to the desktop and trash the iPhoto library - your original photos will be in the masters flolder and you can use any program you wish to manage your photos

There is no mention of the fact that iPhoto11 will lock access to YOUR photo's into an inaccessible directory controlled by Apple (the arrogant sh*ts) meaning there is no way to move or recover individual files.

Well here's to the clueless, bless them everywhere. Your photos are locked into nothing, you just don't know how to use the app. And this has been the way with every version of iPhoto since iPhoto 6. Really. Take a few minutes to learn how to use the app before sounding off. Search the forum for any of the thousands and thousands of posts that tell you how to access your files. Really.
