How long will it take for Apple to simplify turning off all your applications instead of one at a time?

When you have 30 or 40 open applications at the end of the day you might want to quit the to save battery (for then or later).

This can only be done one at a time wich is very inneficient. One button in settings should do it. Add this to the next IOS update please!

iPhone 3GS, iOS 5.0.1, IOS 5, change this please
