I have a tutorial DVD from 2001 which contains several QuickTime movies that I would like to watch on my Mac Pro. In each movie the audio is great but the screen is black. Do I have any options?

Yes, in fact QuickTime 7 launched automatically when I tried to open the movie. Great sound but no video unfortunately.
Perhaps I should add that unlike over a dozen .mov files that don't show video, one file does work correctly - but this one is an .aiff file, complete with the AIFF icon. Great video! Seems weird to me!
