iphone 5 activation

my iphone 5 is from cricket and can't activate it on any other carrier abroad as they told me its unlocked for gsm use while i try to connect to ituens i get we're sorry we are unable to continue with your activation at this time when the international sim is inserted.

and when sim removed i get device is activated on CDMA US network. International roaming requires a SIM.

what should i do to activate it with international sim cards as im in middle east now , any solution online

The SIM slot is not unlocked and Cricket does not offer unlocking. What led you to believe it was?

well the person who i bought the phone from on ebay stated that in his listing , so is there any solution i can do to unlock it or any websites that offers unlock solution online.

i will do that if there is not any other solution , because im abroad and its a really complicated process for me i will rather do an easy solution if there is

The only other solution would be to contact Cricket and see if they would unlock it for you, but since they do not offer unlocking, you'd be wasting your time.

Next time, purchase a phone from a legitimate source.
