When I try to turn on Calendar sync with iCloud in my iphone 4, nothing happens and home screen appears

I was trying to sync my iPhone calendar with iCloud. Mail, Contacts, Notes, everything works. But when I try to enable calendars sync, a message says "Activating Calendar sync" and then the Home screen appears with no change in iCloud settings. It's seems I have some kind of error.

I used to have an exchange account syncing my calendars. I turn that off and deleted the exchange account. Can anyone help me? Thanks!!
