can i locate my phone if the battery has gone flat?

Can i locate my lost phone on maps if the battery is flat?

iPhone 5, iOS 6.0.1

It will give you the last known possition.

If it was moved since the battery went flat - you cannot.

If someone "finds" it and charge you may get a new location.
