My iPhone 4S camera keeps crashing

Try a reset. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and Home button at the same time for 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will lose no data

YAY!! Thanks! I was having the same problem. Resetting it solved the problem. And I will try to remember to reset it once a month as you suggested.

After deleting other non-standard camera apps that I installed last time, the standard camera app immediately was functioning perfectly
