Safari 6.02 can't find the server

Did you try changing the DNSs again?

Ideally if those come automatically from your router - unless you have a custom setup.

DNSs you can try are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Or you have other network problem.

if not can you open Terminal (Applications / Utilities)

and type in

ping 173.194.41.71 (press Enter)

Ok.
You can leave it and it will work like that.
The DNSs you are using are Google and there is no reaso why they should stop working anytime soon.

However, you do have a problem with your router as in normal world it should push DNSs from your ISP to your computer.

Troubleshooting this is probably a case for a different forum and different time - depending on the brand/model of your router.

You're doing great, Norman. One thing I would add to tzbikowski's spot-on help, wouldd be to shut everything down, and an unplug the Mac, and the modem / router. Then retart everything, modem & router first, then the Mac. Every time things get wonky on my browsing, I do this, and it really works wonders.
