I received a message that Safari needs to be updated. How do I do this.

It is automated. It should give you an option as soon as you open the brower. Ideally what happens is that windows devices will open the apple updater and mac devices will open updates in your finder.
You cannot update just Safari in an iPAd, you'll need to updat rthe iPAd to a newer OS.
To do that if you really are running iOS 3, you'll need to plug into a computer running iTunes, and follwo the update prompts there.
You should look to see what forum a question is being posted in before answering. This question was not about a Mac or Windows device.
My bad. I thought you were talking about mac or pc.
You cannot update on a ipad. You need to get an iOS update for that when apple releases it. Phil is correct.
I am confused. I cannot use Safari at this time. I know that I do not have IOs 4. What do I need to do?
