everytime i go to download an app it says 'this app requires iOS 4.3' or 3.0? i think i have 2.1 and everytime i see if i can update it it says no updades?
Can i not get these apps at all or can i somehow update it?😢

A 2G can go as high as iOS 4.2.1. See:

You need iTunes version 10.X and, if a Mac, requires OSX 10.5.8 or later.
I went onto that& i updated itunes and its still saying no updates avalable?
On your Touch go to Settings > General > About > Version and see what the number is.

it wont even update? every app i want to download it says ios 3.0?

Are the apps saying they have to have iOS 3.0 or are they saying they need iOS 4.3? I suspect the latter.
The only way you can update is to get a newer iPod Touch.
what is ios? can i get on the 2nd gen?
