Unlocked (legally) iPhone and Net10

I have an iPhone 4 that is over 2 years old and I requested that A.T. & T. unlock it. They did and when I hooked it to iTunes and did a factory restore, at the end of the process it said "Congratulations your iPhone is now Unlocked”.

The problem is, under about it still shows A.T. & T. 13.0 as the carrier and under General -> Cellular -> Data, I cannot modify the settings to add the Net10 APN settings. I don’t see this screen:

Any idea how to get to this screen?

It you are running iOS 6, since the carrier file is still AT&T, you need to check this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4839 in regards to using the iPhone Configuration utility.

I looked at the configuration utility and that didn't work either. Not to happy to hear about the "Give NET10 a call but don't hope for much since much of what they do requires their software to be running on your phone."

I think I will try to return the net10 sim pack and go with T-Mobile.

Unfortunately one of the things you risk by using a supported carrier for the iPhone.
