I followed the instructions to installing Windows with Bootcamp on iMac. These do not work if you do not first partition your HD in disk utility. Mentioning this would save people a lot of heartache. This solution was found at www.installingcats.com.

I followed th instructions from Apple support to download Windows on my IMac using Bootcamp.

These instructions do not work if you do not firstly partition your HD in Disk Utility.
