LED cinema display now shows strange colored bars on right side.

Out of nowhere, my 27' led cinema (via mini display port) verticle multicolored bars on the right 1/3 of my display showed up. I've restarted my computer, tried to adjust the resolution, hit the "detect displays" button and nothing works. Either the bars are there or it is solid blue. The display is roughly 2 and 1/2 years old. If I use Grab to do a screen capture the image comes out as if the entire screen is working.

Any insight or solutions would be greatly welcome.
