I have updated to both mountain lion 10.8 and i photo 11, but I cloud still will not let me enable the photo streaming feature

I can't enable photo stream on my icloud despite having correct updates. What's the problem?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), i photo 11

What version of iPhoto? Are you logged into iCloud in its system preferences? Have you followed all of the steps here and do you meet the minimum software requirements? - http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/
