How to sync iPod classic that has been synced with an old macbook with a new macbook without erasing data?

I recently bought a new macbook pro. And, tried to sync my iPod classic which was previously synced with another macbook. I was hoping there wouldn't be any hassle in the process of copying my music and other files from my iPod to the new Macbook. But, it turns out that my iPod classic files will all be erased if I proceed with the syncing process because it has been synced with another computer.

Is there any way I can sync and copy all iPod files to the new macbook iTunes without all my data in the iPod being erased?
