I am having trouble figuring out how to change the links ive visited in safari back to blue. I have turned on PRIVATE so now my links dont turn purple onces ive visited the webpage but i can't figure out how to remove/change the already visited sites from purple back to blue! help me pleaseeee xx
Select History > Show All History from the Safari menu bar. Search for and delete the links, or just delete them all. You may have to relaunch the application to see the color change.
OK.
Go to SAFARI tab from the safari menu and "reset Safari"
You can keep your passwords, just uncheck that option.
once done that, quit Safari, here is the trick. CLosing the Safari Window doesn't quit the app, to quit it you can either go to "safari" tab on the safari menu and Quit safari or press control key on the keyboard and click on the safari app and quit. that will erase those purple highlighted links
What versions of OS X and Safari are you running?
