Macbook Pro Not Shutting Down

Hi Guys ,

My Macbook Pro does not shutdown when clicking the shutdown button. It shows an grey page with the circular processing symbol.

I've tried closing all my running apps and shuting it down , tried logging out first and then from the login screen tried shutting down. Im having to force shutdown it most of the time.
