can i listen to music from my ipod classic through my auto radio?

Can I listen to music from my ipod classic through my auto radio. My car does not have a digital radio.

iPod classic 160GB (Late 2009), Windows 7

Thank you. I purchased the FM Tramsmitter earlier and have been unable to get sound out of the radio. It may be the issue of not finding a free station. I'll try again. I also need to check again to see is I have an AUX port on the radio. I I have the AUX do I still need to find a free station?
