Q: When I buy new iTunes on my computer they automatically show up on my iPad, but if I buy iTunes on my iPad, I can't get it onto my computer.  Is there a way to do that?

    If they are downloading on the iPad when you buy them on your computer then I assume that you currently have automatic downloads turned 'on' on your iPad but not on your computer's iTunes : automatic downloads.  You can copy any purchases from the iPad that are not yet on your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases.
