Mirroring & Wifi Sync... BROKEN!

iMac Mountain Lion OS (mid 2011) + Apple TV (2nd Gen) = NO MIRRORING

iMac Mountain Lion OS (mid 2011) + iPhone 5, iPhone 4, iPad 2 = NO WIFI SYNC

iMac Mountain Lion OS (mid 2011) + Airport Extreme = No Base Station Connection (Airport Utility won't even access the new router...)

Apple's emphasis on quality has dropped dramatically over the past 21 months. And I don't think I'm going to continue purchasing their products if they can't make the simple things work.

I've scowered message boards trying to find any address or announcement of correction these probelms and I've come up wth nothing.

I even tried the AirParrot and shut off my firewall (NOT RECOMMENDED) to see if either could solve the problem. NOTHING.

[And YES, before anyone asks I've updated everything I can update.]

iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), AIRPLAY BROKEN. WIFI SYNC BROKEN.

Hi Brian, sorry I can't help here other than replying to bring it to the top again... no syncing here at all, not even a TV, much less an Apple TV! 🙂

Oh wait, might try this...

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...

Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.

Does it work in the new account?
