Stolen macbook Pro and iPad

My mac book pro and iPad was stolen after a break-in. 3 days later the I received information of it's location via find my iPhone app. Police were unable to locate either, so I erased both remotely. Can my mac book still be located, now it's been erased? (The iPad still reads - Pending, so I don't think it's been connected on-line)

MacBook Pro, iOS 6.0.1

Once a device or computer has been wiped remotely, you can no longer track it using Find My iPhone. Nor can you reverse the operation remotely.
