iPod Nano 4th Gen problem!

My iPod Nano will not show anything on the screen. I charged it and it showed the Apple logo for a while until it disappeared and now it won't do anything. I am connecting it and iTunes won't recognize it. Is there anyway I can troubleshoot this problem or fix it?
