I'm trying to reset my MacBook Pro OS X and I'm at the step where it wants me to select the disk where I want to install but on the option it gives me there is a yellow triangle with a ! in it. Underneath it, it say 242.54 gb free and 249.2 gb total. What do I do?

Does it say something more? When the triangle appears, this is because there's a problem, so it must show you an error

What version of OSX is currently on your Mac, or (if you erased your disk for this install) how is your hard drive formatted/partitioned
How can a DVD be 250GB?
What system have you started up from when you are doing this? And why are you trying to reinstall? Are you having some problems that are prompting you to do that?
The problem is that only the install disk is showing up there. My first thought would be that your hard drive has died, which would explain why it's not showing up. Your answers to the questions above will help determine whether that's a likely possibility or not.
