I have a couple of contacts that my iPhone will not allow me to delete, yet those contacts do not show up in my iCloud. Does anyone know how I can correct this?

They still show as a contact on your phone? Or the contact comes up when you recieve a text or call from that person but doesnt show in your contacts?
The contact(s) only shows up on my iPhone, but it doesn't show up anywhere else (iCloud, Mac, etc.). When I try to delete it from my phone, it won't let me. I have also changed the contact name and try to delete it...nothing it won't delete it. In the contact information I have deleted the information in all of the other fields, so the only information that remains in that contact is a first name, but when i edit and select delete it will not delete it, strangest thing!!!
Reset your phone, hold the home and off button down until the apple symbol comes up.
I had already tried that. I did it again after reading your reply, but to no avail. That contact is still on my iPhone and it will not let me delete it. 😕
Only other thing is try a restore from your backup.
I believe I just figured it out. By error I have two accounts and when I activate the 2nd account (.....@me.com), it let me delete it.
