Q: Movie won’t download to iPod Touch

I have a movie in my iTunes account but when I connect my iPod Touch it doesn't appear as an option to sync. I also have an App which said it could work with the iPod Touch but it also is unavailable for sync.

Both of these were available to sync and downloaded perfectly to my iPhone.

Can I get them onto my iPod Touch?

iPod touch, Mac OS X (10.4.7)

For the video see:
iTunes: May be unable to transfer videos to iPhone, iPad, or iPod
iTunes: Frequently asked questions about viewing and syncing videos
iTunes: Sync purchased HD videos to iPod or iOS device
For the app is it likely because:
- The app is not compatible with model iPod and its iOS.
- You have a Restriction on that prevents installing/syncing the app. Settings>general>Restrictions.
