iMac OS X v10.7.5 - when saving a Word document why is there no "save as" but a "duplicate" required. How can I get "save as" back?

I have an iMac with OS X v10.7.5 running. When saving a Word document why is there no "save as" but I am required to create a "duplicate" and then "save" it? How do I get "save as" back?

Read OS X Lion- About Auto Save and Versions. If you upgrade to Mountain Lion there is a new option for using Save As.

Lion does not provide a Save As in software that supports the option. After creating a Duplicate just choose Save. You can then do the same as you could with a Save As menu option.
