I just finished putting together a book on iPhoto but when I try buying it it says there are photos missing, but there aren't! Does anyone know what might be the problem?

Look for a page that has the layout that uses a photo for the page background. Like the page in this screenshot:
In the View All Pages mode the page will have a small warning triangle next to it at the bottom left:

I have exact the same problem. As I have been creating several books in the past I new about the "backgrounds".
I checked all the pages for this and everything seems fine ( no triangle sign and in addition I the saved the book as pdf and even there everything looks fine).
But the problem remainsand I can not roder. Any idea what the problem could be.

You're trying to buy a book with iPhoto? That's no longer possible from Apple. iPhoto and Aperture books and other print products were discontinued as of 31/3/2016

Thanks for coming back but I had three books ready and I am able to order one (with iphoto version 9.6.1).
This is not the problem, there is an issue with the pages. I just tried to buy another book and there is no problem at all, the problem is with the pictures on some pages. It says there are pictures missing but all looks fine (background either colour or picture) and with both the preview and the pdf all is fine.
Any help is appreciated.

Yes it is. As of April 1, 1`016, Apple is no longer accepting print product orders from any version of iPhoto. So you'll either have to send the PDF file to PrestoPhotos and order the book from them or migrate to the new Photos and order from Photos. However, Photos may not have the same theme as you used in iPhoto.
