Q: View APP purchase history on IPAD (not Mac)

I see this question asked and the answer always seems to be to open iTunes and click your account, etc.  this assumes I have a Mac computer, I don't

1.  I do not have a Mac

2.  Opening iTunes on my ipad IOS 6 there is NO account link

3.  Purchase history in the APPS store does not show credit card charges, only a list of all the apps I have, I want to see inapp charges, credit card charges and dates.

I only have an ipad, no Mac.   How do I do this?

iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 6.0.1

I am assuming that the big corpartaion does not let us check what purchases were made for i have charges that are not supposed to be there and CAN not find the same info you are looking for either I am about ready to screem, I even called apple and they cant help and I am signed into apple also.  All i can see is the apps itself not the billing history of anything that i get billed for

    I wish i kney though

I was having the same problem, and found that apple has this site to view purchases. Goto this site to view your iTunes purchases  : http://reportaproblem.apple.com/

    Hi,

This works good for viewing on my iPad!! Show all the free and list the price next to the app! I think this will be the best way for people to view on the iPad,....

    Thanks for the link!

I can not get to my macmini at this time and just saw a purchase that I could not remember buying on my bank account. My bank account takes a couple days to see the purchase... I have my young daughter share my Apple ID so I know what's she downloading. I thought she bought an app but it turns out a app I bought... Glad I found out before I picked her up at school. Lol

    Thanks again yissu

That would be a useful alternative to the obvious facility of viewing the information directly in the App Store, but unfortunately it shows only the last 90 days purchases. That's a small minority of my 200 or so.

I was searching for how to check purchase history and came across this thread.  I am just adding my two cents, because the lack of a way to check purchase history without iTunes is INSANE.  These claims about using the iTunes client are totally irrelevant to the topic.  I have a PC, what I don't have is iTunes.  The thought that I would install some music player on my PC, is so 90's.  I don't listen to music on my PC, why would I install iTunes on it?  I have an iPhone and iPad for that.  iTunes is a relic of the past IMHO.

Apple, add a website to check this, ASAP.

Ugh! I need to view my transaction history after finding several unexpected iTunes purchases listed on my bank statement and I want to check all of them from last year now. I have an iPad. I have a PC. I do not have iTunes. Why would I?!

How does it make _any_ sense to make someone install an application in order to view their purchase history? What other application *in the history of the world* does that?

For vast majority of people the last 90 days is absolutely fine so this website should suffice for a majority of users and people on the thread.

Thanks for being "that guy" that comes in and summarily tells everyone what they do and do not need.  It's super helpful.

I can go back to 2002 on Amazon, the year I started buying stuff from them.  In fact, every company I regularly buy from allows me to see my entire purchase history with that company.  Apple should be no different, nor should one have to download proprietary bloated software programs in order to view a simple order history.

Oh, really? You analysed all the purchasing statistics did you, before posting your pompous pronouncement?

To put it simply, I cannot view my iTunes purchase history on my ipad previous to the last three months. As others have said, I too find this very annoying. Apple wants us to view our purchase history using the iTunes application on a computer. To say anything about whether or not an iPad is not meant to replace the functions of a computer is, in my view, irrelevant. Apple is, arguably, one of the most technologically advanced companies in the world. iTunes on a computer is an application. There is no reason why Apple cannot develop a similar application for the iPad. As others have mentioned, I too am able to view my entire past financial history with many other companies using their own developed iPad apps or even using an iPad web browser, which the iPad does have. The fact that Apple does not allow this through either an app or their browser on the iPad is NOT a limitation of the iPad. It is, I believe, a limitation Apple deliberately chooses to have. Why? I don't know. To me, it's silly and extremely annoying. The ability to view past purchases with companies using my iPad is very convenient. Obviously, Apple is not concerned about my convenience.

There is no way to view your purchase history on the iPad version on iTunes. The best work around if you don't have a computer with iTunes is to use your email. Open your mail and use the search function with "iTunes" or "iTunes Store". You will then get a list of all your recent purchases. Apple sends an email receipt each time your credit card is charged.

I hope Apple will fix the iPad and iPhone version of iTunes so we can access this account information directly, but this is the best work around I know.

People might not save their email receipts, or choose to delete them.

In any case, as was mentioned in the course of this thread, this page will show you a list of your most recent purchases:

    http://reportaproblem.apple.com/

If you need more than that, you absolutely need a computer.
