I was wondering if anyone can answer if the following is possible, or suggest a way to do this...
I have a 160GB 1st Gen Apple TV in my lounge - we're thinking of adding a TV in our bedroom, and I'd like to get
the new Apple TV with it - however I have lots of content on my 160GB version.
Is there a way the new one will wirelessly stream the content from the old one? If not - is there anyway to do this?
The only option would be having the old one use the new as AirTunes speaker but that would mean the old one would only play out the news speakers not it's own
Streaming from any Apple TV is not possible.
Any content on your old Apple TV which has been purchased from iTunes can be streamed from the iTunes Store on your new Apple TV. Any content on your old Apple TV by virtue of syncing with an iTunes library means that the content should be available in your library to stream to your new Apple TV.
