How come when ever i try and export a movie from iMovie to the camera roll it say An error has occured?
Presumably because something is wrong.

i just bought i movie 2 days ago on the iPad and the version is 1.4 (587). I dont own a mac and the OS is iOS 6.

You mean that you created a movie in iMovie, then tried to export it to your iPad's camera roll, only to receive an error in doing so; correct? You've probably tried different file sizes as well and were unsuccessful, right? I have the same problem and it isn't a complicated problem to understand. Now... can we work on an answer?
It sounds like you are running iMovie on an iPad. We are all running iMovie on our Macs which is why we can't help you. I will ask a host to move your question to the iMovie for iOS discussions so that your question will be seen by knowledgeable people. Give them a few minutes.
