iTunes Match Error 4002 - Can't Connect

I am experiencing this exact same issue. I've attempted Turning off iTunes Match, Updating Genius, and then turning back on iTunes Match within iTunes and the problem persists with Error 4002.

I am running iTunes 10.7.

I'm getting the same problem. This isn't the first time I've experienced this, and it's get this old.

I'd expect this with a free service, not one I've paid for. I'm dissapointed in Apple.

Yea, same problem here. There are songs in my iTunes library that say they need to be added to iCloud, but they won't, and it just gets the error.

same for me since yesterday!!! grrrrrrrrrrrr

Glad to see it wasn't just me, but ****** that this isn't working for a service I just paid for yesterday.

Three days after original post and still the same problem. I'll have to rethink if this service is worth it once my year runs out. Very disappointed.

I've been getting this for over a year now with no solution. I'm unhappy that I can't use this service I'm paying for and there is no way of resolving it.

I've been getting this 4002 since June. Tried everything. No way to get this cloud thing working. I hopedthis issue is fixed with itunes 11 - nothing. I'm thinking about quitting this service.

Well, I have this error too, I can now only assume the servers are overwhelmed with people updating to the New iTunes 11. Hopefully this will resolve itself later...

I have been having the same issues for several months. Very frustrating. Apple support suggests turning off iTunes match, signing out of iTunes, signing back in to iTunes, updating genius and then turning on iTunes match. This worked once for me, but has not worked since.

Hey all my just all or sudden worked been in the same place as you all and came looking for new ideas only to read the same ones still exist for trying to fix it. Mine subscription is up on dec 8 and that is 25 bucks I will not pay again. I agree the system is to flaky to waste 25 bucks on. I hope the rest of you all of sudden get it to work. I did nothing speical except just telling to keep trying it would time out i would click ok then start.

I have been experiencing the same problem for 4 or 5 days now. I upgraded from iTunes 10.7 to iTunes 11 today, and I am experiencing the same error code 4002. Tried turning off iTunes Match and reinitiating, but the problem still persists. I also tried the other suggestions listed above and no luck.

Same for me as well. Very frustrating. I can see all my playlists on my iphone and my ipad but there is no content to access in them. My subscription expires soon...don't think I'll be renewing.

Same. No issues until the itunes 11 update. Now I'm stuck on step one.
