Flowing long blocks of text in an iPhoto 11 book

I have about 2,000 words of text that I need to flow into an iPhoto 11 book project.

As far as I can see, there is no way of making this flow automatically from text box to text box, page to page. At the moment I am cutting and pasting 150-200 words into each text box, which means that if I edit anything in one box, every subsequent box needs to be pasted again.

I can't believe Apple would have left book creators with this clunky method of compiling long-form text in an iPhoto book, so I must be missing something obvious.

Can anyone advise?
