MacBook keeps playing random audio

Hi all,

My MacBook Pro (retina display), every now and again, plays something that sounds like radio, but I don't know where it is coming from! I have tried turning Wi-Fi off, turning my router off, but it still keeps playing. I definitely have not downloaded anything to do with 'Rio de Janeiro's natural beauty' on my computer, and there are no web browser popup windows open. iTunes is not open, and when I quit my web browser it keeps playing. It is really annoying, and I can't figure out how to stop it! If you need any extra details, let me know. I am running Mac OSX Mountain Lion.

Cheers

Interesting!

Does it do it also when you unplug it from anything external, run on battery, and have WiFi off?

Anything under Login Items that could load something in the background causing it?

Does it also happen if you boot into Safe Mode (note, boot process takes longer than usual)?

Whoa, that's the first problem about audio that I've ever heard

Probably trying to press your "Command" + "Option" + "esc" button will be the best option (it's used to force quit all the application running). After the force quit application bubbles pop up, try to RELAUNCH your Finder, usually the screen will flashing when this "Relaunching" the Finder occurs, but after that if all problem is solved you can use your Mac as usual again, without audio disturbance when it is not requested.

Cheers
