Macbook Pro & Airplay mirroring

I have a MacBook Pro 15-inch, Late 2011, Software Mac OS X 10.7.5, which is supposed to support Airplay. But I do not have any Airplay icon or options in System preferences > Display? Does anyone have the same issue? Any means to fix this?

You need an Apple TV for airplay mirroring.

Yes, I have an Apple TV that works perfectly with my iPhone & iPad. I just would like to use it as well with my Macbook Pro...

Hi DGeert

I have a Macbook Pro 13 inch and I have the same problem that you reported. I dont have the AirPlay icon in the top of the screen and I dont have a selection for it in System Preferences - Displays.

Did you have any luck finding a solution.
