How can I put the dock on the left side of my right monitor?

Hi,

I am using an additional monitor. The menu bar is on the correct screen but the dock jumps over to the wrong one.

How can I move the dock to the same monitor as the menu bar?

I have two monitors and want to place the docks on the LHS of the RHS monitor. e.g. put the dock in the middle of the two screens.

thanks!

The Dock is going to be on the right, bottom, or left side of the monitor that has the menu bar.

You can move the menu bar via the System Preferences -> Monitors -> Arrange, and then drag the menu bar in the Arrange window to the monitor you wish to have it on.

If you want 2 menu bars, you can download and use SecondBar <http://macupdate.com/app/mac/33264/secondbar>

There are alternate dock utilities available, such as "DragThing" which can put docks anywhere on the screen, and allow you to have multiple different docks for different purposes. Running apps, mounted volumes, launcher docks, etc... <http://www.dragthing.com/english/about.html>
