Administrator windows same computer (my imac)

For some reason I am not the administrator on the windows part. What should I do to change that? Because I need to delete some software and I can't.

I am having this trouble on a

27-inch: 3,2-GHz

  • 3,2-GHz quad-core Intel Core i5
  • Turbo Boost tot 3,6 GHz
  • 8 GB geheugen (2x 4 GB)
  • Harde schijf van 1 TB
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX met 1 GB

The only reason why I have windows on my imac is because I need it for my job. But now I need to remove itunes (and reinstall) on windows, but I can't. Similar problems with quicktime, I need it for artlantis, that software says there is no quicktime on my computer. So i want to download it, but then it says I already have a newer version and I cannot download it. Then I try to remove quicktime to reinstall, but again it asks for the administrator which should be me, but for some reason I am not recognized as the administrator.

I hope somebody knows what I should do?

Thanks

Angie

Note: Before you ever get rid of iTunes you must first deactivate the account in iTunes settings.

After you have installed iTunes 5-6 times without deactivation, you lose iTunes & access to your data for a year.

This can happen for instance, due to problems in Windows or Mac or both, where reinstallation has to be done after system failure where you never have a chance to deactivate.

a) In Windows, if your anti virus is not Microsoft Security Essentials, get rid of what you have and install S.E.
b) In Control panel-> User Accounts->Change UAC Settings - Drag it down to Never Notify

If above does not fix Try Microsoft Soft FixIt here-> http://support.microsoft.com/find-solutions/windows/windows-7/?fi=50195

1) click Install & Upgrade... - this will open detail menu on right

if 1) does not fix
2) Click Fix Security .. Accounts

Note: this site is for more than Windows 7 you can click windows icon to change OS to W. 8 etc. Save it to Favorites
