I have tunes on my shuffle from my previous computer, but the only tunes that show on my itunes list are those I bought from itunes. I want to delete some of the tunes on my shuffle, but can't seem to do anything with the complete list of contents.

The 2G Shuffle is still associated/tied to your older iTunes library. In order to start using the iPod with the new PC, you'll need to restore the Shuffle to factory settings in iTunes. This will associate it with your new iTunes library.

If you have content on the Shuffle you want to copy over to your new PC first, see this excellent user tip from another forum member turingtest2 outlining the different methods and software available to help you copy content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.
