Hi. I have just bought the apple in ear headphones. Maybe I am doing something wrong but there is hardly any bass. Compared to the new apple earpods its a difference of night and day. Have you also experienced the same problem? Am I doing something wrong?
Several others have reported similar results in their reviews of the EarPods on Apple's online store.

Thanks. You mean in ear headphones or earpods now? Im talking about the in ear headphones.
I'm talking about the comparison of the bass between the old Apple earbuds and the new EarPods. Many have reported much better bass quality in the new EarPods.
So the fact that the bass seems worse in the old Apple earbuds, isn't all that unusual. If you still aren't convince, bring them back and trade them in for a new set.

Thanks again. My question was not about the earbuds. I was talking about apples in ear headphones that you can get for 80$
