device not recognized

I have bonjour showing in my browser but my apple device is not recognized. I cannot point the browser to my device. I have tried many things to connect to bonjour. i have an ipod that i need to put files on through a network. i have tried through itunes but under home sharing nothing appears i have set up a home network and have a router please help. thank you I have safari for windows.
